Denali Legend's Sunset Surfer

When my girl Maggie passed on, having the extra love bestowed upon me by Woody, my first male TM, helped to make things a little easier. I had originally thought to keep a girl from Sammi's first litter of three but The Wood Man had wormed his way deep into my heart. I finally let Fate and a puppy buyer decide for me as Woody's sister Bella was chosen to go to a new home. I really believe Woody was meant to stay here with me.

The deep love he has for me and I for him is amazing! He is his mama's boy, my constant companion and my Big Love. He is also an amazing big brother to his siblings from Denali's second litter as he plays, eats and sleeps with them. Woody is starting to get the hang of the show thing and is already turning heads.

I know Woody’s adventures have only just begun!

Denali Legend's Kodamae of CFAR

Sammi came to us from Denise and Roger Christensen of CFAR Tibetan Mastiffs in Deming, Washington. Her breeding is from the diverse pairing of Kodiak of Kesang Camp, known as Kodiak and StormnAngels Bhyundar, known as Pashi. Sammi also holds a special place as the niece to my first Tibetan Mastiff, Maggie.

One of two girls in the litter, it was evident that Sammi was a puppy hellion but, as is typical with maturing TMs, she has grown into a beautiful sweet-natured girl that has a loving nature when around children and babies. She is also a wonderful home and yard guardian.

Our breeding efforts with Sammi produced two litters. We decided to keep her son Woody and her daughter Chena from her first and second litters respectively. Sammi is retired now from breeding. While she has had limited exposure to the AKC forum, Sammi simply enjoys playing at the lake on our daily walks and just loves being a homebody.

Denali Legend's Arctic Pearl

The story of how Chena came to be with us was directly influenced by my niece Shandi. Shandi is living at our house and helped to deliver and raise our second litter of puppies. When Chena was only 4 weeks old, Shandi left for a trip to Nepal. Upon her return 4 weeks later, puppy Chena was bursting with joy to see her favorite person. So, whether we chose Chena or whether Chena chose us, our gorgeous girl puppy is already very much a part of our family.

She loves to go for walks down to the river and enjoys playing with cats and other dogs, big or small. Her big brother Woody is showing her the ropes of being a proper Tibetan Mastiff and she is catching on rather quickly. Chena is learning to stack and to walk on leash but she is happiest when carried around by Shandi and her boyfriend.

We are looking forward to Chena's many adventures coming up this summer!
